PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational cold storage combined with refrigerater capable of efficiently cooling objects to be cold stored and to be refrigerated. SOLUTION: The cold storage and refrigerating parallel apparatus 500 executes a cold storage for cooling an object 70A to be cold stored combined with a refrigerating operation for cooling an object 70B to be refrigerated by switching with a channel switching unit 80. A channel resistance of a refrigerating side pressure reducing unit 30B is increased from that of a cold storage side pressure reducing unit 30A. A compression amount of a compressor 10 at the time of refrigerating for giving a condensed refrigerant 20a to the unit 30B side is increased more than that of the compressor 10, at the time of cold storage for giving the condensed refrigerant 40A to the unit 30A side. The compression amount is altered by changing a rotating speed of a motor 11B of the compressor 10 by a variable frequency circuit 51. The circuit 51 can be constituted of an inverter. The residences of the units 30A, 30B are altered by changing to a control of an electronic expansion valve provided at a channel 81. The objects 70A, 70B are altered to objects to be cold stored and to be refrigerated and can be switched at channels of pressure reduced refrigerants 30a, 30b.
