PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle an activated carbon filter used for the air conditioner for an automobile. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is provided with an activated carbon filter to clean air to be supplied into an automobile, wherein a device is installed to clean the filter by heating the filter and air inside the filter. The air carried together with by-products can be moved to the outside of the filter by cleaning airflow 3. Activated carbon makes physical contact with a heating device 5 whose temperature is adjusted or controlled, and the activated carbon and air existing in the filter 4 can be heated by the heating device 5 while the cleaning airflow 3 is passing through the filter 4.
