PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store a wheelchair into an automobile. SOLUTION: A guide rail 21 provided on a floor face to direct its end part toward an automobile opening part along a substantial vehicle-width direction is provided in the rear part of a driver's seat 12 in the cabin of an automobile 11. A curved wheelchair laying arm 22 and a moving device 23 moved reciprocatingly along the guide rail 21, and attached to one end of the arm 22 are provided in an upper side. This wheel chair storing device for an automobile comprises a rear abutting part 25 attached to the wheelchair laying arm 22 in the other end part other than the moving device 23-attached end, and a front wheel storing part 28 attached to the wheelchair laying arm 22 in a more inner cabin side than the part 25.
