PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: Not to give a damage on a refractory at a bottom of an oblique furnace by opening a waste dumping inlet to introduce a box-shaped pallet in the furnace, thereafter slowly placing the pallet at the bottom of the furnace, and retracting a fork to an original position while retaining the pallet at the bottom as it is. SOLUTION: A container-filled miscellaneous solid waste and a discrete waste are previously contained in a box-shaped pallet 27, the pallet 27 is hoisted to a feeding position before a waste dumping port 20 of an oblique furnace, then a fork 30 is inserted into a fork penetrating hole 26 provided at the pallet 27 and raised. Then, the port 20 is opened, and the pallet 27 is filled in the furnace. Thereafter, the fork 30 is retracted while regulating a tilting angle of the fork 30. Then, the pallet 27 is slowly placed at a bottom 12 of the furnace, and the fork 30 is retracted to its original position while retaining the pallet at the bottom 12 as it is.
