PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fault or an erroneous operation and to improve reliability by providing two electrode plates coupled directly to a circuit board to sense a water immersion according to a change of a resistance value near a bottom. SOLUTION: A circuit board 25 for controlling an operation of cleaning means disposed in an apparatus body 2 is covered with a circuit cover 26 and mounted on a rear surface of a front cover 23. Two electrode plates 27 as a water immersion sensor are each formed of an anticorrosion metal plates of stainless steel or the like, and extended toward downward to the vicinity of a bottom of an apparatus body 4 mounted directly at a lower end of the circuit 25. When the body 2 is submersed in water, the water is stored in the body 2 so that an electric resistance between the plates 27 is changed, a water immersion sensor provided on the board 25 senses it. Thus, its cost can be reduced with a simple constitution, and even in an environment in which corrosiveness is high and an erroneous operation is feasible even in a bathroom, the immersion can be accurately continuously sensed with high reliability.
