METHOD FOR REMOVING CLINKER-LIKE ADHERED ASH AND REMOVING APPARATUS USING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently comminute and remove a clinker-like adhered ash of a hanging type heat transfer tube. SOLUTION: A nozzle 3 is positioned directly above a hard clinker 1 adhered to a bend (horizontal part) of a lowermost part of a heat transfer tube 2, high pressure water 5 is injected from the nozzle 3 as a high speed water jet 6 and collided with the clinker 1. The nozzle 3 may be disposed directly under the clinker 1. If the injecting direction of the water 5 is inclined within 30 deg. from a hanging direction, removing performance of the clinker 1 is not lowered.
