PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce force twisting and raising a blade compared with conventional fans while maintaining high efficiency and low noise by forwarding blades in an axial fan wherein a plurality of fans are placed on the outer periphery of a boss portion at a predetermined angle. SOLUTION: In this axial fan, a plurality of blades 13 are placed on the periphery of a boss 11 at a predetermined angle. A forwarding blade 15 is divided into a plurality of parts at a predetermined radial position, and a divided part 17 connecting to the boss 11 is excluded therefrom. The blade 13 is formed in a shape such that the plurality of parts 19, 21, 23, 25 recede with respect to the imaginary position at which the blade 15 would be located.
