PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing equipment and materials for preventing their fall capable of easily dealing with the movement, etc., of the equipment and materials. SOLUTION: This method consists of a stage for detaining both ends of first wires 3 to the equipment and materials 1 (1a, 1b, 1c) placed on articles of furniture, a stage for disposing a rail 4 to the articles of furniture or fixtures on the peripheries of the equipment and materials 1 and adapters 5a of second wires 5 having adapters 5a movable along the rail 4 to the rail 4 at end, respectively and a stage for hangingly mounting the hangingly mounting parts 6b of wire grips 6 having the hangingly mounting parts 6b to the first wires 3 and clamping the other ends of the second wires 5 to the wire grips 6. The fixation of the equipment and materials 1 and the release thereof are facilitated by the attachment and detachment of the hangingly mounting parts 6b.
