CALIPER BRAKE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight of a caliper brake device with which a rolling stock, etc., is equipped. SOLUTION: The bogie of a rolling stock supports four wheels 4 and a caliper brake device 100 is fixed at a bogie frame 50 of which the bogie consists. The caliper device 100 is provided with first and second caliper bodies 110a and 110b being of division structure and the two bodies are fixed at the bogie frame 50 by bolts 120. The caliper bodies 110a and 110b support a brake pad member 170 and is pressed against a rotor formed integrally with the wheels 4 through a hydraulic pressure. A hydraulic passage 210 is arranged in the caliper bodies 110a and 110b and coupled to hydraulic feed pipes 240 and 242 arranged at the internal part of the bogie frame 50 through a coupling part 230.
