PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store cube ice in a cube ice storage part and crushed ice in a crushed ice storage part of an ice storage respectively efficiently. SOLUTION: In an ice storage device 10 where an ice machine 11 to make cube ice 16, an ice crusher 12 to crush the cube ice to make crushed ice 26, and an ice storage 13 provided with a cube ice storage part 40 and a crushed ice storage part 41 being partitioned are arranged in order downward in the vertical direction, and a switching gear 14 equipped with a switch plate 34 to selectively lead the cube ice from the ice machine to the cube ice storage part or the ice crusher is arranged between the ice machine and the ice crusher, and the cube ice is stored in the cube ice storage part and the crushed ice from the ice crusher in the crushed ice storage part respectively, and in a crushed ice storage device 10, a cube ice storage sensor 42 to detect the ice full state of the cube ice is installed in the cube ice storage part, and a crushed ice storage sensor 43 to detect the full ice state of crushed ice is installed in the crushed ice storage part respectively, and also the controller 15 to control the switching gear controls the position of the switching plate so that it may lead the cube ice to the cube ice storage part or the crushed ice storage part in an ice unfilled state, based on the detection result from the cube ice storage sensor and the crushed ice storage sensor.
