PURPOSE: A keyboard capable of writing and preventing an illegal copy program is provided to be used in common by storing key code in a keyboard and outputting a code corresponding to the key value through a connector. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard microprocessor(12) transmits a key scan code to a keyboard controller(21) of a main board(2) through a connector(PS2) and identifies through a body main board as to whether an editor define code can be received through the connector(PS2). The keyboard microprocessor(12) orders a down-load through a serial-parallel interface(14) when the editor define code cannot be received through the connector(PS2). A code storing unit(13) stores the key scan code data and stores a storing data code from the main board through the serial-parallel interface(14).
