PURPOSE: A radio universal serial bus device is provided to select a radio infrared communication mode or a USB communication mode according to a user's usage by communizing a hardware source. CONSTITUTION: A radio universal serial bus device comprises an asynchronoustransceiver(31), a host controller(32), an infrared module(34), a data coder(37), a CRC processor(38), and a mode selector(39). The asynchronous transceiver controls an RS-232 serial communication. The host controller controls a USB communication. The infrared module performs an infrared communication between an outer infrared element. The data coder encodes and decodes the data from the asynchronous transceiver and the host controller through a protocol controller(35) and encodes and decodes the data from the asynchronous transceiver and the host controller through a USB controller(36). The CRC processor adds a CRC code to the data of the data coder or examines a fallacy through the CRC code. The mode selector controls the protocol controller and the USB controller.
