ERROR RECOVERABLE TRANSMISSION METHOD USING CODE-COMBINING IN MACRO-DIVERSITY

PURPOSE: An error recovery method is provided to recover a normal frame from an error frame through code synthesis by transmitting codes different from one another in macro-diversity. CONSTITUTION: A base station controller receives frames of normal and inversion codes from a terminal through a number of base stations in paths different from one another. The controller inspects the existence of a normal frame in the received frames. If the normal frame exists in the received frames, the normal frame is selected and transmitted. If all of the received frames have an error, the normal frame is recovered through code synthesis using the normal code and the inversion code, and the recovered normal frame is transmitted. Efficient transmission is enabled using a small magnitude of electric power to allow a high-quality service and reduce noise.
