PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to reduce the producing costs without any limitation in the size or the hardeness of a disc by integrally forming a piston and a retainer of the shock absorber. CONSTITUTION: A channel of rebound(81) is formed in the structure penetrating the upper and the lower parts of a piston vertically. A channel of compression(82) is the structure punching so a larger diameter as to cross the circumference of the piston(80) of smaller diameter. To process the channel of compression(82) in the piston(80), a hole crossed in the circumference of the piston(80) is punched to connect with a hole after punching a hole in a certain depth from the one side of the piston(80). Thereby a separated processing is not needed because of the compression channel(82) of crossed structure when a metal mold is produced.
