PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube which has a sufficient inner pressure intensity as decreasing the deflection power by improving a circumference part of a funnel where a deflection yoke is installed, is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a cathode ray tube, a cone part(30b) of a funnel(3) where a deflection yoke is installed is more squared from a circle to a non-circle as proceeding from a neck part(5) to a panel part(1), and a connection part with a body(30c) combined with the cone part is inflected, and the cone part is formed so that an inflection point(Pd) as to a diagonal direction of the panel is located more closely to the panel than an inflection point(Pl,Ps) as to a major axis or a minor axis of the panel.
