PURPOSE: A ceramic filter is provided to prevent the rising of pressure of exhaust gas, to sufficiently block smoke, and to effectively extend the life thereof by facilitating the regeneration of the filter. CONSTITUTION: To form a wavelike fluid channel(2) for allowing particles contained in fluids to repeatedly and vertically be collided and collected, a thin plate shaped ceramic filter plate(1) is continuously and repeatedly bent. The porous sintered ceramic filter plate is formed with a coral reef shaped collection branch(11) and a collection hole(12) defined by the branches on the upper and lower surfaces. Many ceramic filter plates are stacked up and down at regular distances, thereby a ceramic filter is produced. A heating element for heating the ceramic filter plates is provided on the side of the ceramic filter. The ceramic filter is disposed in series or in parallel.
