PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for editing a logo in mobile communication terminal system are provided to edit and project newly a logo through an arrow key, a delete key, and an appointment key by reading a logo data registered to the terminal system. CONSTITUTION: A method and an apparatus for editing a logo in mobile communication terminal system comprises the steps of: changing a mode to a logo edition mode if a logo edition key is input; reading a stored guide message and displaying the read message if the logo edition key is input; detecting a key input of a code allocated to the guide message and reading a logo data corresponding to the detected key input; displaying the read logo data; editing the displayed logo data to a function key; and registering and storing the edited logo data.
