MOBILE COMMUNICATION BASE STATION/MOBILE STATION DEVICE USING DATA BUFFER HAVING DUAL BUS AND CHANNEL ALLOCATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile communication base station/mobile station system using a data buffer having dual buses and a method for allocating channels thereby are provided to efficiently process a large amount of traffic channel data using a microprocessor with a low processing capability by embodying an independent dual bus structure transmitting user signaling channel data and traffic channel data between a microprocessor and a modulator/demodulator. CONSTITUTION: If M numbers of buffers among N numbers of Tx and Rx buffers(21,22) are processed through a microprocessor bus, the other Tx and Rx buffers(N-M) are processed through a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) bus. If a buffer is set up so as to be accessed through the microprocessor bus, the microprocessor(10) recognizes the buffer directly on its memory map and can directly write or read the data through an address and a data bus. On the other hand, if a buffer is set up so as to be accessed through the TDM bus, the data of the buffer are transmitted to a desired place by a TDM bus dedicated I/O processor, without being managed by the microprocessor(10).
