METHOD FOR DISPLAYING PROGRAM GUIDE INFORMATION OF DIGITAL TELEVISION

PURPOSE: A method is provided to view contents of each channel in an animation and changing main/sub screens to a desired screen by displaying program guide information of a digital television. CONSTITUTION: Program information is listed on a guide window which each broadcasting station broadcasts at present according to a selection of 'present broadcast guide'. If one of the program information listed on the guide window is selected, an animation of the selected program is displayed through the sub screen window. Only program information a user wants is listed on the guide window by an addition of a conditional search. A broadcast in the sub screen window is displayed in the main screen by means of main/sub screen changes.
