PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to easily install and repair an operation panel assembly. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner is made up of: an outer casing constituting the appearance of an air conditioner; a discharge unit installed on the front upper area of the outer casing to vent heat-exchanged air to a room; a suction grill unit provided on the front lower area of the outer casing to introduce external air into a body; and a front plate placed between the discharge unit and the suction grill unit. An operation panel assembly includes a fan-shaped front panel(40) having plural operation buttons(32), a front and rear housing units(42,46) covering a circuit board(44) installed on the rear face of the front panel. |
