METHOD FOR USING PROCESSOR TABLE FOR SIGNALING BETWEEN SINGLE PROCESSOR AND MULTI-PROCESSOR IN ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSMISSION MODE SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for using a processor table is provided to minimize corrections of software of a mult-processor and a single processor as well as secure recognitions of each connection by using a processor table in an asynchronous transmission mode switching system. CONSTITUTION: A processor table(200) has a connection identification in correspondence witha processor identification and is used as a table for a recognition with respect to a connection used in a single processor with respect to a signal from a multi-processor(210). The processor identification includes a processor identification of the multi-processor(210), and each processor identification has a unique value in the processor. The connection identification contains unique information recognizable of a connection. The multi-processor(210) makes a connection identification corresponding to a processor identification. The single processor(220) finds a processor identification corresponding to the connection identification and transmits a signal.
