PURPOSE: A method for controlling a connection of telephone line in computer communication is provided to perform an easy user interface when connecting a computer to a communication network through a modem. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a connection of telephone line in computer communication relates to a telephone connection service through a modem by using a predetermined communication connection program. The method for controlling the connection of telephone line comprises the steps of: preparing (100) a telephone directory to record a user's connection number; displaying(104) a list of the telephone number when the user connects the telephone number; displaying(106) details of the selected number; and connecting(110) a desired number of the details.
