DUSTPROOF AND WATERPROOF CASE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dustproof/waterproof case for a vehicle capable of decreasing the number of parts and the man-hours for assembly while the dustproofness and waterproofness of electronic components stored inside are well maintained. SOLUTION: The body 12 of the case 12 assumes a box shape having an opening 14 and is furnished with a central part 12a to store an inverter unit to be dustproofed and waterproofed and side parts 12b and 12c to store accessories. The case body 12 is fitted with a main cover 16 having access openings 20a and 20b where a part of the opening 14 is exposed in the mounted condition covering the opening 14 and which admit access to the stored accessories. Further, sub-covers 22 and 24 are fitted to cover the access openings 20a and 20b for putting the whole case body 12 in a tightly shut condition, and the inverter unit and its accessories are stored in a single case while their dustproof/ waterproof condition is well maintained.
