PURPOSE: A CCD camera with an automatic zoom for processing an image is provided to grasp a road state easily by changing a focus of a CCD camera in accordance with a change of a distance from an inputted image. CONSTITUTION: A CCD vertical angle converter(10) converts a vertical angle through data inputted in accordance with a distance change. A zoom converter(11) converts a CCD vertical angle and inputted data. A distance converting control unit(12) converts a distance in accordance with a distance converting table and outputs a road image. A distance converting filter(13) filters data from the distance converting control unit(12) and ANDs with distance data.
