The drive for re-centering the fluid actuator of the auxiliary axle of a bus has an auxiliary cylinder (12) with a movable piston (120) which drives the shaft of the main actuator cylinder (11) to a pre set position in the main cylinder. The auxiliary cylinder has its own hydraulic circuit independent of that of the main cylinder.
