PURPOSE: A method for preparing siliceous fertilizer from steel slag and a device therefor are provided which use grains and composts as a caking agent. Therefore, the pollution of the soil is prevented and the soil enrichment is accelerated. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) after pulverizing steel slag into powder, mixing the pulverized powder with 2-6 wt.% of side materials, wherein a part of the side materials is heated and the other part of the side materials is non-heated; (ii) mixing the mixed slag with 5-12 wt.% of water and kneading the mixture; (iii) after finely cutting the kneaded slag, molding the slag in a circular form and then drying the molded slag. The device comprises: (i) a side material injecting hole(1) which a first side materials is injected into; (ii) a side material hopper(3) which is connected to the side material injecting hole by a screw conveyor to store the side materials; (iii) a slag hopper(5) which stores the pulverized slag; (iv) a middle hopper(7) which stores the mixture slag of the slag and the side materials; (v) a side material stirrer(8) which is connected to the middle hopper and stirs the second side materials; (vi) a second side material tank(9) which is connected to the side materials stirrer and has a boiler on one side; (vii) a water tank(11) which is installed on the side material stirrer and connected to the middle hopper to supply water; (viii) a mixer(12) which kneads the mixture slag, the second side materials and water; (ix) a molding machine(15) which molds the kneaded mixture slag into globular state slag; (x) a selector(16) which selects the size of the globular slag; (xi) a grinder(17) which grinds large particles selected by the selector; (xii) a drier(19) which dries the globular slag; and (xiii) a cooler(21) which cools the dried globular slag.
