PURPOSE: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to improve the performance of an air conditioner as well as to easily install an outdoor unit by installing each component to vent air to the upper front face after absorbing the air from the lower area by placing a compressor in the center of a cabinet. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is composed of: a cabinet(51) having an inlet(51a) on the front lower area and an outlet(51b) on the front upper area; a condensing heat exchanger(52) installed in the inlet of the cabinet; a compressor(56) fixed on the central bottom of the cabinet; an axial flow fan(54) provided to be inclined to the outlet of the cabinet; and a motor(53). Suction air is vented to the upper part by being absorbed from the lower front and side face of the cabinet. Therefore, the outdoor unit can use a space by installing the outdoor unit closely to a wall. The condensing heat exchanger can reduce the volume of the cabinet by sufficiently securing the transfer area of heat as well as occupy the small volume. |
