Accumulator (2) consists a flexible tubular diaphragm (10), an inner support element such as a coil of steel wire (11), a air permeable outer support element (12) and a surrounding enclosure (13). The accumulator is particularly adapted to be positioned in the hydraulic brake line, between a main brake cylinder and a brake slip control device. In use the diaphragm is pressed against main brake cylinder and a brake control device.
