<p>The invention concerns a method for feeding fines or granules into a light-arc furnace (10) which consists in using a hollow electrode (24) provided with a feeding channel (38), preferably a hollow Söderberg electrode. A conveyor (40) introduces the fines or granules (12) into the feeding channel (38) so as to maintain the latter a column of material (42) whereof the lower end (44) is smelted in the molten metal bath (16).</p> |
