A low-voltage circuit-breaker (1) includes a device for automatically resetting a permanent-magnet (or magnetic clamp) release (2), in which the energy of the end of the switch-off movement is utilised to push back the release spring, as well as resetting the magnetic clamp release by hand and by remote control. The device is modular in design consisting of a carrier (6) containing the permanent magnet release (2), a guide housing (7), a swivelling- or slewing-bearing (9) on which is arranged a swivel-force transfer element (1) for transferring the resetting energy from a lever element (14) arranged on the switch-shaft on to a release plunger (5). A receptacle (15) holds a hinge-mounted spring (16) for transferring force from a remote-control resetting magnet (12) to the reset plunger (8), the magnet (12) being provided with a fixture element (18).
