The invention relates to an insert for a three-pole female connector for a connector plug of an appliance. Said insert comprises a receiving body for inserting (pre-assembling) crimp connection pins for the two conductors and the protective conductor, and a cap. Said conductors and said protective conductor are arranged in relation to one another in a triangular configuration. According to the invention, the receiving body consists of a base body (1) and a front wall (5). The base body (1) is provided with space d insertion channels (11, 12, 13) for inserting said conductors. The front wal l (5) has through holes (17, 18) for receiving the contact pins of the connect or plug, said through holes being arranged according to the configuration of th e conductors and the protective conductor. The crimp connector (31) for the protective conductor is designed in a manner as to be inserted as U-shaped metal strip parallel to the crimp connector pins (30) of the conductors in t he base body (1). The crimp connector also has two webs (25) connected to the U - shaped metal strip in the extension of the opening (18) which have a pair of resilient claws (26) to receive the contact pin of the protective conductor of the connector plug.
