The cladding for windows and/or doors is especially of extruded aluminum profiles using at least two profile components (20,22,24), forming a channel cut back within to take the head of the mounting (26). One profile section (20) has groove structures (36,38) to hold the edge of the adjacent profile component (22,24). The first section forms part of the cladding structure, irrespective of the dimensions of the frame or door or window.
