<p>A method is described, for estimating the duration of the interruptions in the supply from the electric mains in an electric apparatus having an electronic control, in particular a household appliance. The described method comprises the following steps: a) measurement and storage, on the occasion of an interruption of the supply voltage of the apparatus, of the value of at least a quantity being characteristic of the operating status of the apparatus; b) measurement, on the occasion of the restoration of the supply voltage, of the current value of said characteristic quantity; c) comparison between the stored value and the current value of said characteristic quantity; d) estimation, on the basis of said comparison, of the duration of said interruption of the supply voltage.</p> |
