PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-adhesive composition having less tuck in an applied surface on applying the same to a base material and a good self-adhesive property of applied surfaces each other, and also excellent in aging resistance and printing adoptability. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive composition contains a cationic polymer and fine particles having 0.5-30μm mean particle size as base components. The cationic polymer includes (1) a copolymer of monomer components containing a cationic monomer, (2) a copolymer of monomer components containing the cationic monomer and a crosslinkable monomer, and (3) a copolymer of monomer components containing the cationic monomer, the crosslinkable monomer and a hydrophilic monomer. The glass transition temperature of the cationic polymer is e.g. approximately (-)55-15 deg.C. The cationic polymer is allowed to be constituted of an acrylic polymer emulsion. The content of the fine particles is e.g. approximately 5-250 pts.wt. based on its solid portion and 100 pts.wt. cationic polymer. The self-adhesive composition is allowed to contain further a hydrophilic polymer.
