摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for monitoring by an operator and achieve an automation of a revolving work by measuring a distance to an end face of a slab with plural displacement meters, judging the coincedence of each measured value by an operation unit and sending an output thereof to a roller driving method. SOLUTION: A table roll for revolving a slab is installed to a rolling machine and, multiple numbers of rollers 1 of different diameter are arranged in two rows in a right angular direction towards the slab 2 forwarding direction. The rollers of different diameters are rotated in reverse direction each other so as to revolve the posture of the slab 2 by virtually 90 deg. against the rolling line by adjusting rotation numbers of the rollers. Plural displacement meters 3 are installed in parallel to the axes of the rollers 1 for detecting if the slab 2 posture is revolved virtually 90 deg.. Measured values of each displacement meter 3 are input into the operation unit and, when all the inputted values coincide, it is judged that the slab revolving is completed. By sending a signal to a driving method of the rollers 1 showing that the values are agreed, the rotation of the rollers 1 is stopped immediately.</p>
