PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for an ignition device, requiring little labor in mounting/demounting the device without depending on bolt- fastening. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure for an ignition device, the ignition device 1 is so constituted as to be mounted to the cylinder head cover 51 by means of each lever member 7 pivoted to the main body part 5 of the ignition device 1 at each supporting point 19. When the gripping part 17 of each lever member 7 is pressed downward as shown by an arrow head A, each lever member 7 is accordingly rotated to the direction of the arrow head A, each abutting part 21 abuts against respective locking parts 57, and when the gripping part 17 is furthermore pressed downward, the ignition device 1 is pressed and moved downward so as to be-inserted in the mounting end position of the insertion hole of the cylinder head cover 51 by the reaction of each' abutting part 21 pressing each locking part 57 upward, and the ignition device is thereby engaged with, and connected with an ignition plug in the internal part, and concurrently, the locking projected part of the main body part 5 is engaged with the locking recessed part of each lever member 7, so that each lever member 7 is thereby locked.
