PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary a capability range as a swirl pump and to enhance self-suction capability. SOLUTION: A suction chamber 1d communicated with a suction opening 1f is provided in a casing body 1 at its lower part. A peripheral pump part 4 is placed on the suction chamber at its upper part. A discharge chamber 2d is provided in the peripheral pump part 4 at its upper part. A holding water chamber 1g communicated with an discharge opening 1h is provided outside the discharge chamber. As a peripheral casing 4b housing an impeller 4a and constituting the pump part 4, a plurality of peripheral casings having peripheral chamber with different effective lengths are prepared to selectively use an arbitrary peripheral casing.
