PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an alarm sound from an alarm system for smoothly proceeding a conversation at a time of using a respiratory apparatus by providing a manual control unit for temporarily preventing the occurrence of the alarm sound from the alarm system for the conversation by a patient himself. SOLUTION: A respiratory apparatus 4 is provided with a ventilator, an anesthesia device, other medical respirator device and the like, and a patient 2 is connected through a tube system 6 with the respiratory apparatus 4. An alarm system 8 is disposed within the respiratory apparatus 4, and when an error is detected during operation of the respiratory apparatus 4, an alarm is occurred. Even when the patient speaks, a gas runs through a tube within the trachea to leak and the alarm is occurred. Since a manual control unit 12 for preventing unnecessary alarm sound is provided and the unit 12 is controlled by the patient 2 when the patient 2 wants to talk, an occurrence of the alarm cannot be activated.
