PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which is capable of performing a perfect printing in which an intermediate image formed in a heat-fusible ink on an intermediate transfer medium is detained and the transfer face of a printing paper is directly heated. SOLUTION: In this image forming device 1, an endless belt intermediate transfer medium 40 is passed over three rollers of two intermediate transfer medium feed rollers 45 and a transfer roller 50. An ink jet head 20 is arranged to be opposed to the intermediate transfer medium 40, and a fused heat-fusible ink 10 forms an ink image as an intermetium image 30 on the intermediate transfer medium 40 by an ink jet head 20, this image is press-contacted with a recording medium 60 having a face on which a final image is to be formed and is directly heated by a heater 81 to obtain a final image. Thus it is possible to perform a perfect printing on a printing paper 60 without impairing an image formed in the heat-fusible ink 10, even when the image exists beforehand on the surface where image has not yet been formed on the printing paper 60. |
