PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily put in and out the articles by forming an opening and closing cover of which one longitudinal end is pivotted slidably to a hinge supported slidably along the guide rails mounted on both side edges of a main body, and which has a slide door on its central part, slidably and rotatably to the hinge. SOLUTION: A console box comprises a hinge supported slidably along the guide rails 13 mounted on both side edges of an accomodating part 12 opened at an upper part of a main body, and a bellows-type slide door 15 is mounted on an opening at a part of an opening and closing type cover 15 of which one longitudinal end is pivotted slidably to the hinge. When a front edge of the opening and closing cover 15 is lifted up, it can be kept at a rotary open position. The slide door 16 can be opened and closed independently from the opening and closing of the cover 15, so that the articles accomodated in an accomodating part 12 of the console box body 11 can be taken out by opening the slide door 16 without opening the cover 15.
