<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting a light source device capable of accurately grasping the condensing condition of the light source device and adjusting the position of a discharge lamp. SOLUTION: This is the method for adjusting the condensing condition of the light source device 1 constituted of an elliptic mirror 2 and the discharge lamp 3. A pinhole plate 4 having a pinhole and positioned on the second focal point of the mirror 2, a screen 5 on which light passing through the pinhole is projected, a camera 6 photographing the entire picture of the light projected on the screen 5 and making it into the data of the picture, a picture processing part 7 performing picture processing based on the light quantity information of the picture data, and a monitor 8 displaying the picture formed by the part 7 are prepared. The position of the lamp 3 with respect to the mirror 2 is adjusted in accordance with the picture of the monitor 8 so that a desired spot can be obtained by the pinhole.</p> |
