PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the microwave transmitter-receiver where duplication of components such as a local oscillator is avoided. SOLUTION: The transmitter-receiver consists of a 1st waveguide 9 where a 1st frequency band and 2nd frequency band are used, a 1st frequency conversion circuit 14 and a 2nd frequency conversion circuit 13 that conduct frequency conversion for 1st and 2nd signals and are coupled with the 1st waveguide 9, and a local oscillator 24 connecting to either of the two circuits and sends (19) and/or receives (20) a signal. The transmitter-receiver includes a 2nd waveguide 23 that is used for transmitting a signal from the two circuits used for frequency conversion of the 2nd circuit by the local oscillator to other device.
