PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is capable of performing the optimal correction of an input image. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a head 211 consisting of plural recording elements for forming an image on a recording medium based on given image data, a density-unevenness characteristic data- creation part 202 which creates density-unevenness characteristic data based on density unevenness data on a pattern formed by using the head 211 and attribute informations used in forming the pattern, and a density-unevenness correction part 226 which corrects image data by using the density unevenness characteristic data created by the density unevenness characteristic data creation part 202.
