PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire puncture preventive capable of preventing the leakage of air even when a nail or the like is pierced by previously injecting a small amount of the tire preventive into the pneumatic tires of an bicycle or a motor bicycle, particularly capable of being used for tube type tires, tubeless type tires, double tube type tires having an air chamber and a puncture preventive chamber, and the like. SOLUTION: A tire puncture preventive has a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. water, 0.2-20 pts.wt. polysaccharide derivative, 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. water swelling polymeric gel fine particles as the viscosity modifier, 1-20 pts.wt. short fibers having a multi-branching structure with an average fiber length of not shorter than 0.1 mm, and 20-200 pts.wt. 2-4C glycol and/or 1-4C alcohol.
