PURPOSE:To obtain a colored thermoplastic resin composition colored with an organic pigment and having suppressed discoloration at high temperature, by compounding a thermoplastic resin with an organic pigment and an epoxy group-containing polymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) A thermoplastic resin colorable with an organic pigment and having excellent heat-resistance (e.g. polyolefins, polystyrenes, saturated polyesters, etc.) is compounded with (B) 0.1-10wt% organic pigment (preferably azo or phthalocyanine pigment) and (C) an epoxy group-containing polymer such as a polymer of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester (e.g. glycidyl acrylate) or a copolymer containing >=2wt% said ester and having a molecular weight of 3,000-100,000 and the obtained mixture is kneaded under melting with an extruder, etc. The amount of the component C is >=0.1wt% (preferably 0.3-10wt%) based on the component A and is >=10wt% (preferably >=30wt%) based on the component B.
