PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental cartridge syringe where a 1.8-ml cartridge and a 1.0-ml cartridge can be selectively mounted by attaching or detaching an adapter. SOLUTION: A conventional dental syringe is adapted for a 1.8-ml cartridge 16. An adapter 21 has a length equivalent to a difference in length between the 1.8-ml cartridge 16 and a 1.0-ml cartridge 16; a reverse U-shaped groove 22 fitting into a plunger 8 from its side in a window 17 of a cylindrical body; and a socket 23 for receiving a plunger head 6. The adapter 21 further comprises elastic hold means 24 for elastically holding the plunger 8 when it is mounted to the plunger 8. |
