PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction prevention device for a construction machine surely stopping the operation of an actuator in starting the drive operation with an operation lever not in a neutral position. SOLUTION: When the position of an operation lever 5 is detected by pressure switches 18, 19, the operation of starting the drive of a machine such as starting of an engine or operating a drive stop lever 15 to a driving position is performed, and the operation lever 5 is not in the neutral position, switch valves 9, 10 are set to a shutoff position B by a controller 21 so as to stop the feeding of the pressure oil to the actuator 3. This constitution can prevent the actuator 3 from moving in starting the operation.
