PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the water permeability and to prevent the formation of the recessed parts by filling and coating the recessed parts of the water permeable asphalt pavement with a filler prepared by mixing an aggregate having a specific distribution of grain size and a resin. SOLUTION: An aggregate composed of the particulate matter such as pulverized small stones, sand, gravel and ceramic and having the distribution of grain size including 60-90 wt.% of aggregate of 1.5-0.4 mm particle size and 10-40 wt.% of aggregate of below 0.4 mm particle size, is prepared. Then the aggregate and a resin such as an epoxy resin or the like are mixed by a weight ratio of (9:1)-(7:3) to prepare the filler material 3. A pigment, a surface active agent and the short fiber such as carbon fiber or the like can be optionally mixed in the filler material 3. In the application, the filler material 3 is filled and coated on the concave parts 2 formed on the water permeable asphalt pavement surface 1. Whereby the water permeability can be kept, and the formation of the concave parts can be prevented.
