PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make manufacture possible simply and inexpensively with a corrugated board folded down and at the same time to improve cushioning effect for articles to be packaged. SOLUTION: While first incisions 5 are cut at a corrugated board base 4, a first side face part 7 is turned up and superposed on a second side face part 8, a section between the first incisions 5 and a longitudinal side 2a on one side at the first side face part 7 is turned up at the innermost ends of the first incisions 5, a first superposed face is folded upward, a third side face part is turned up and superposed on a remaining section of the second side face part 8, second superposed faces 8a are folded upward, a remaining section of the second side face part 8 and the third side face parts are turned up so as to be erected on a third crease 9c positioned below the longitudinal side 2a on one side at the first side face part 7, and first superposed faces 7a are superposed on the second superposed faces 8a.
