The invention concerns an atmospheric package for a pasty product with a generally cylindrical shape and comprising a substantially cylindrical centre sleeve (3) having at least a ridge (36), a base (5) and a cover (6) closing the centre sleeve at its lower (7) and upper (8) ends. The centre sleeve is formed from a strip provided with an opening tab whereof one tip (30) for grasping projects from one edge (31) of the strip. The strip is wound on itself with the tip for grasping the opening tab located outside the sleeve (3). Said strip edge (31) is arranged in the proximity of said ridge (36) and the tip (30) for grasping the opening tab extends from said edge (31) beyond the ridge (36). The invention is useful for packaging processed cheese. |
